GOVI Publishing House
As a profession-owned publishing house, GOVI offers trade journals, customer magazines, reference and consumer books, organisational aids and software solutions for pharmacies. GOVI publishing house is a member of the Boersenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels (stock exchange society of German book trade). Furthermore, it is member of the VDZ, the umbrella association of German magazine publishers.

Pharmazeutische Zeitung (PZ)
As the largest pharmaceutical trade journal, the Pharmazeutische Zeitung deals with all the editorial segments of the market and, therefore, with all the people involved. The advertising section includes the largest employment market for pharmaceutically qualified personnel. It is also available online.

Neue Apotheken Illustrierte (NAI)
The Neue Apotheken Illustrierte (NAI) is a customer magazine that is available in many pharmacies. About 3.2 million readers are reached by 1.5 million copies. Each issue comments on a relevant healthcare topic.

Werbe- und Vertriebsgesellschaft Deutscher Apotheker mbH (WuV)
As a subsidiary company of the ABDA, the WuV deals with three core themes: production and sale of pharmaceutical data for the healthcare sector, expositions and congresses, and telematics.

ABDATA
The information by the ABDATA Pharma-Daten-Service is offered to pharmacies and surgeries as well as to other interested parties from the healthcare sector. Important note: The ABDATA solely offers data and not software programms. There are software providers that implement the pharmaceutical data into merchandise management or information systems for pharmacies or into surgery computers for doctors.

Telematics
"Telematics in healthcare" develops telematic solutions for the sectoral and cross-sectoral networking in healthcare with focus on pharmacies and pharmaceutical supply. Telematics describes the consolidation of telecommunication and informatics to a new technology that communicates sensitive data safely and discretely by modern information technology.

Marketing Gesellschaft Deutscher Apotheker mbH (MGDA)
The MGDA-Marketing-Gesellschaft Deutscher Apotheker mbH is a company of the German Pharmacists' Association (DAV) that considers itself as an agent between industry and pharmacy, and, moreover, as a service provider for both target groups. The field of self-medication is getting strategically more and more important. A higher individual responsibility of the patients, which is politically favoured, at the same time creates new challenges the pharmacists must meet.

Drug Commission of German Pharmacists (AMK)
The information of the Drug Commission of German Pharmacists (AMK) is published usually in the Pharmazeutische Zeitung. Furthermore, it can be accessed by the module "Aktuelle Info" in the ABDA-database as well as on the internet.

Central Laboratory of German Pharmacists (ZL)
The Central Laboratory is the address for all questions of quality concerning pharmaceuticals and goods typically found in pharmacies. Particularly, this means the specification of raw material (including primary packaging means), additives and finished products/proprietary medicinal products as well as bio-pharmaceutical/pharmaco-cinetic analyses of drugs and finished products.

German Institute for Drug Use Evaluation (GIDE)
The German Institute for Drug Use Evaluation (GIDE) aims at the advancement of science and research as well as at the enhancement of pharmaceutical drug safety. Therefore, the GIDE performs analyses within the field of pharmaceutical supply. It has access to a unique database of billions of anonymised prescriptions from the medical accounts of the statutory health insurances.
